Middle School Youth Meet Wednesday Evenings 7-8 pm

During youth group the students take part in a short Bible lesson that covers a range of topics. These lessons cover faith basics from a Methodist perspective in order to help the students better understand the church they are a part of and the Christian faith as a whole. Special Events
The Youth program of the Church offers special events for middle school and high school students throughout the year. They include the 30-hour famine, fall kick-off, overnights, and district and conference events. The youth are given the opportunity to help plan these events through our local youth council and through DCYM and CCYM at the district and conference levels.
Leadership Opportunities
There are many ways that the students in our church are able to develop and grow their leadership skills both at the local church and beyond. At the Church they can be a part of our local youth council and help plan and lead youth events as well as helping lead Sunday School for the younger children. Beyond our Church they have opportunities at both the district and conference levels to serve on their respective youth councils and to serve on planning committees for events hosted by these groups.
Summer Trips
Each year the youth group takes a summer trip. These include mission trips and the national Methodist youth gathering that takes place every four years. For many youth these trips can be a life changing experience.
